Meagan and Bryson met while working on a photo shoot in April of 2013. They ended up on the same set for a couple of out-of-state shoots and even ran into one another at Bible study. Bryson asked her out to coffee and that date turned into dinner. In August of that same year, they booked the same feature film and after weeks of working long hours together in the Texas heat, he asked her if she’d date him exclusively. She said yes.
Bryson proposed at the Texas Discovery Gardens in the Butterfly House in Fair Park. Meagan describes it as a cold and gloomy Thursday, so they were the only people there. He distracted her by asking her to look for a rare butterfly and when she gave up searching she turned around and he was on one knee. “Neither of us remember what he said, but I remember a big smile and an ‘I love you so much’. Not even sure if he asked me to marry him, but I said yes,” Meagan says.
Meagan is a freelance makeup artist and Bryson is a singer/songwriter in the band Of Rocks and Roots. He also works as a singing coach and art director for AMTC (Actors, Models and Talent for Christ). The couple will marry at the Aristide in Mansfield on Friday, September 25, 2015.
