Bridal boutique StarDust Celebrations has debuted The Bridal Garden, a special collection of gowns geared towards destination weddings and Boho brides. If you’re on the hunt for a romantic look for a garden affair, a beach wedding, or a second nuptial, you can shop lines by Love Marley by Watters, Romantique by Claire Pettibone, Rosa Clara Soft, and Ti Adora by Alvina Valenta. (You may recognize some of the designers as StarDust carries most of the parent collections in their couture salon.)
The store has had many brides come in with an interest in soft, romantic, and destination-style dresses as well as Bohemian-chic looks with interesting lace patterns, sleeves, low backs, and illusion necklines. Marsha and crew looked to designers they’ve previously worked with and decided to group together their offshoot lines that serve the bride who is not looking for a traditional dress. “The destination and Boho bride tend to want to buy off the rack and they are very particular about their fashion aesthetic. They do not want to try other styles, particularly something more traditional. We thought a complete collection of these styles would create a fun shopping experience, ” says owner Marsha Ballard-French.
