You can add another stop to your cake tasting tour with the launch of Savor’s new custom pastry business Pink Apron Pastry. The Klyde Warren Park gastropub is known for their delicious desserts and now you can serve them at your wedding, shower, or engagement party! Pastry Chef Julie Vorce, who is known for wearing a pink apron, will lead the charge. She spent time creating wedding cakes and pastries at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas before moving over to Savor. Her passion for cakes and desserts are what led to the launch of this exciting expansion.
Pink Apron Pastry will offer cakes in an assortment of flavors, sizes, shapes, tiers, and fillings. All of the flavors can be mixed and matched to make the perfect cake to suit your taste buds. Cake flavors include almond, vanilla, red velvet, German chocolate, graham, and citrus and fillers range from chocolate peanut butter ganache to salted caramel. A thick layer of fruits, compotes, or jams can be added in flavors like pineapple, cherry, and blueberry. Top it off with the best part: icing. Choose from multiple buttercream flavors or cream cheese.
Each cake is made from scratch and can be embellished and customized to fit the aesthetic of your wedding. She also offers adorable mini cakes that are fun for a dessert bar, a groom’s cake alternative, or favors. You can find out more about Pink Apron Pastry here.
