Eliza and Dan met while working in New York, but the pair got engaged in Eliza’s hometown of Monterrey, Mexico. They moved to Dallas for work and started planning a traditional wedding that blended American and Mexican cultures—complete with a bilingual DJ. On October 8, 2016, they wed at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a garden reception at Arlington Hall awash in white and peach. “Everyone came from different places, so we got to share a little bit of our new hometown with them,” Eliza says. —Sarah Bennett
