Rachel Rode and Bobby Janss met through a mutual friend during the summer of 2009. It didn’t take long for Rachel to figure out that Bobby was the “one.” In fact, after their first date Rachel told her mother that they would eventually marry. Three years later, Bobby proposed at Rachel’s parents’ house where their family was waiting with celebratory champagne.
For their wedding day on Saturday, April 12, 2014, the couple chose Brookhaven Country Club as the scene of the soiree. The bride selected black bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos as the color backdrop and added in pops of bright hues with bouquets and arrangements made with hydrangeas, roses, garden roses, and peonies. They dined and danced and ended the night with a classic getaway.
