High school sweethearts Jordan and Brett dated off and on for six years before Brett surprised her with a proposal at Lakeside Park. He pulled out momentos from their relationship–such as a wine cork, Uno cards, notes, and a penny he found before their first date–as he asked her to be his wife. “It was such a special event, and afterwards he planned a surprise party with our friends and family,” Jordan says.
The couple decided on the Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas for their wedding day on Saturday, May 16, 2015. For Jordan the most important aspect of the day were the flowers. She chose champagne and blush as the color combination with hints of green. The table linens and decor were selected to compliment the large floral centerpieces and arrangements designed by Branching Out Floral and Event Design. They said “I do” under an impressive arch of flowers for the ceremony and brought the arch inside to frame the cake at the reception. Jordan tells the story of her sister Haley rapping her maid of honor speech to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song as a highlight of the evening.
