This couple met while taking the same accounting class over the summer of 2005. Plans to study for a big test turned into a leisurely afternoon chatting by the pool. They dated off and on over the next few years, but Summer’s move to Austin after graduation led to about a year apart. That small break was just enough time for the pair to realize that they were absolutely meant to be.
Seven years later, Summer came home to a home cooked dinner after a long day at work. After dinner, Sean casually began looking through Summer’s iPad album of wedding inspiration. He stopped at a particular picture and asked, “So what is this one?” Summer realized that it was an image of a diamond ring sitting outside on her patio and immediately realized what Sean was up to. She stepped out onto the patio as Sean got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
Summer and Sean both studied marketing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Summer is now an assistant buyer for a local luxury retailer, and Sean is a financial analyst for a financial software company. They will wed at the stunning Piazza in the Village on October 5.
