If you’ve been on Pinterest (or our site!) lately, you’ve probably noticed the popular trend of adorning the bride and groom’s chair at the reception with a “Mr.” and “Mrs.” sign or decoration. We love the classic touch, but there are plenty of other ways to incorporate the trend. In order to mark your first of many moments as “him and her,” you and your partner should definitely consider some of these cute ideas we’ve provided for you. Check them out below!

Boldly announce your unity with your partner with large block letters like Allie Weibring and Brett Hopkins did.

If your reception chairs are wooden, similar to Katherine McNeff and John Heyde’s, a Mr. and Mrs. looks wonderful on some burlap.

But you don’t have to boast you and your significant other’s new titles only on the back of chairs. Jody Martin and Kyle Stein showed theirs off on the send-off cab’s umbrella.

You can also incorporate this fun trend to match your wedding’s theme. Lauren Conner and John Toburen did so with beautiful frames and some pink decorative wrapping.

Once again, you don’t have to just use chairs! Alexandra Glendenning and Clayton Snodgrass played up their new status on a plant tag to align with their rustic theme.

A classic option is using place settings at the table in order to have something to look at and make you feel even more excited about your big day and of course, the love of your life right at your side. Taylor Anne Mountz and Zachary Ramsey did so, anyway, and it looked fabulous.
