Michael and Jessica met in college while attending the University of Texas. Jessica’s roommate had a class with Michael and she set them up on a blind date. Jessica dated the football/track star in college and then they went their separate ways for six years. They eventually decided they couldn’t live life without being together. Michael proposed while the two were dining at Nick & Sam’s. It was Jessica’s birthday and her family and friends were present to witness the special moment.
Michael graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 with a degree in youth and community studies. He is an NFL free agent. Jessica graduated in 2007 and studied sport management. She worked for the Dallas Mavericks for five years in the communications department. She is now a stay-at-home mother to their daughter, Madeline, who was born on August 18, 2012. They will marry Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Dallas Arboretum.
