Brooke McNeil met Justin Reed at Texas A&M, where they were both studying accounting. They worked together and had a few classes with one another, and a friendship blossomed. Eventually, things turned romantic and they began dating.
Cut to a cool February morning a year and a half later. Justin had a special surprise for his special lady: a spa day, where she would be treated to a massage and a manicure. Once she was feeling relaxed, she got instructions directing her to a hair salon, where Justin had booked an appointment for her to have her hair done. After that, she got a letter telling her to go home and get ready, where she would be picked up later that afternoon for an evening she wouldn’t soon forget. Along with those instructions was a letter from her and Justin’s parents, expressing their excitement over her and Justin’s future.
If she wasn’t already sure what was happening at that point, it was probably clear when she and Justin arrived to Lakeside Park, where Justin had lined steps leading down to the water with rose petals. When their lab puppy, Sadie, came bounding down the stairs with a ring tied around her collar, it was official. The two celebrated their engagement at Patrizio’s with both of their families and some of their closest friends.
Brooke and Justin both work in Dallas as CPAs, she at Hines and he at Houlihan Lokey. They will be married at the Piazza in the Village in Colleyville on December 20.
