This pair attended Texas A&M at the same time and knew many of the same people, but their paths took four years to finally cross in Raleigh, North Carolina. Travis swept Traci off of her feet with a date on New Year’s Eve (what a perfect way to ensure a kiss on the first date) followed by a home cooked dinner the following evening. The couple knew that it was meant to be and Travis proposed just one year later.
The day began with a heartfelt ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel. The bride wore her mother’s re-styled wedding gown and honored lost family members with a poem reading and a rose to hold the seat for each person that was there in spirit. The evening transitioned to a cocktail hour with live piano music, then a jazz-fueled reception complete with feathers, candles, and prohibition-era cocktails.
