The gown hangs in the store for a season or two, and then the store usually holds a sale to get rid of the last season’s inventory. That’s where your savings come in. Yes, the gown has been tried on and no, it is not custom. However, the gown is usually in great shape and with a few alteration tweaks, it will fit to your body and style specifications. Plus, you get a designer dress for more than half the price and not one wedding guest will know you bought it at a sample sale.
