The new Nardos Imam boutique is now open and taking appointments. The couture designer spent the last seven years at Stanley Korshak creating custom gowns and wedding dresses for clients as the in-house designer. While she was there, she designed a stunning mink and silk gown for Mackenzie Brittingham Sumrall’s Aspen nuptials. The two became friends and before they knew it, they were business partners. The pair found a space on Sherry Lane and quickly got to work designing a boutique that reflected Nardos’ point of view. The store carries approximately 35 original designs, which can be customized. (We featured one of her gowns in the Spring/Summer 2014 issue of D Weddings. See it here.) Nardos will also continue to offer the custom work that she is known for. Mothers of the bride and groom can also work with her to create a one-of-a-kind look. Call the salon for an appointment. 6170 Sherry Ln. Ste. 120. 214-363-7701. nardosimam.com.
