Taylor LeBaron first found her love for makeup while she was pursuing another passion: As a theater student at the University of North Texas, LeBaron would do fellow cast members’ makeup for performances. Once she graduated, LeBaron knew the beauty industry was calling but wasn’t sure in what capacity, so she attended Paul Mitchell and became an esthetician. Post–Paul Mitchell, LeBaron initially only did facials but eventually found her way back to makeup.
After working in the makeup field for 10 years and breaking into the wedding industry, LeBaron decided to branch out on her own and launch Rouge and Rosé in November 2017. A makeup company that focuses mainly on weddings, Rouge and Rosé is named both for the French translation of red (rouge) and the song “La Vie en Rose” as a way to highlight the fresh and romantic beauty looks LeBaron creates. And though she no longer does facials every day, LeBaron still emphasizes the importance of skin.
“I decided to start my own on-location makeup business, but I still try to incorporate skincare as much as possible. My motto is skin first, makeup second,” LeBaron says. “I really try to encourage brides to start a routine as many months before their wedding as they can, so that their skin is fresh and beautiful on their wedding day and we’re not trying to cover anything up.”
Although LeBaron decided to go a different route even after majoring in theater, she still uses her past as inspiration for her current artistry. Specifically, LeBaron channels characters—on and off the screen—in her looks. D Weddings sat down with LeBaron and watched while she recreated four iconic celebrity wedding looks from start to finish. Check out the brands she used, tips and tricks she offered, and the finished products below.
Priyanka Chopra, modeled by Meetrah Amini
Amini is the senior partner stylist at Sonia Trevino, and also styled the models’ hair for this story, including her own.

- Skin prep: Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced
- One benefit of using this product is that it fills in pores and fine lines nicely.
- Primer: Dior Backstage AirFlash Radiance Mist
- To apply this product evenly, use a Dior No. 12 brush.
- Foundation: Dior Backstage AirFlash Foundation #400
- Again, use the Dior No. 12 brush to apply this foundation.
- Prime eyes: Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials
- Apply this primer all over the lid and eye.
- Eye shadow: Any matte neutral that’s skin-tone and natural looking, specifically a pinky taupe.
- You’ll also want to use a light pinky plum in the crease of your eye. Apply this shadow using a fluffy brush to give it some depth.
- Brow pencil: Anastasia Dark Brown
- Add a little extra dark pencil in the corners to really accentuate the brows.
- Blush: MAC Desert Rose
- Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey
- Apply this around the nose and under the eyes, or to cover up any additional spots.
- Powder: Any translucent powder
- Apply this powder down the center of the face, on your T-zone, and around your eyes and nose.
- Mascara: L’oreal Voluminous
- This L’Oreal mascara is a great go-to, but the most important thing is that your mascara is waterproof.
- Eyeliner: Kiss Luxury Black Waterproof Eyeliner
- Apply this on the waterline to give the effect of longer lashes.
- Lip liner: Deep rosy or berry lip liner, but specifically MAC Lipliner in Soar.
- Be sure to overdraw the lip to give the effect of plump lips if you are going for Priyanka’s pouty lip.
- Lipstick: Mix Kosas Rosewater with a deeper shade like Rimmel 084 Amethyst Shimmer
- Sometimes you will have to mix colors to get the shade you’re striving for.
- Highlighter: Something a little more golden like the Anastasia So Hollywood from the Glow Palette finishes this look off perfectly.
Miley Cyrus, modeled by Lindsey Pineyiro

- Moisturizer: Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator
- This product is particularly great for hydration.
- Primer: Laura Mercier Foundation Primer-Radiance
- For this look, the primer is a particularly important step because a glowy look is all about prepping the skin.
- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude
- Use a buffing brush in circular motions to cover any little bit of redness.
- Anastasia Brow Pencil in Medium Brown
- Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Palette
- Begin with Stark on the lid as a base, then apply Frisk in the crease.
- Use the MAC 219 Brush to accurately apply these shadows.
- Eyeliner: NYX Wonder Pencil
- Use a pale-colored pencil on the bottom water line to brighten up the eyes and open them up. Plus, this technique also helps to keep you looking restful and fresh.
- Mascara: L’oreal Voluminous
- Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
- When applying, be sure to go around the nose and eyes.
- Foundation: Use a liquid foundation
- Because this is a natural look, try to apply a minimal amount of foundation.
- Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
- Go under your eyes, around your nose, and down the center of your face, but do not apply elsewhere so that the look remains natural.
- Blush: Glossier Cloud Paint— Mix Puff and Dusk
- Apply both these colors on the apples of your cheeks. Warning: these two colors require a lot of blending.
- Lips: Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect and Pillow Talk, plus a golden gloss on top, like Bare Minerals Moxie Plumping Gloss in 24 Karat
- Highlighter: Nude Stix Nudies All Over Face Color Glow in Hey Honey
- Apply this product on the top of your cheek bones for a little extra shine.
Audrey Hepburn, modeled by Diana Crowder

- Prep: Amazing Cosmetics Anti Aging Face Primer
- Foundation: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 4.5
- Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
- This look is a little less natural, so apply this powder all over your face.
- Prime eyes: Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials
- Eyeshadow: Use beige colors all over your eye, but specifically colors form Urban Decay Naked2 and Urban Decay Naked Basics.
- Apply Foxy from Naked Basics (a yellowy-beige all over eye), and then add Cover from Naked2.
- Eyebrows: Anastasia Dark Brown
- This is the technical part: To imitate Audrey’s eyebrows, brush your eyebrows downwards, then you’ll find it easier to create a more straight and boxy brow using a brow pencil.
- Eyeliner: NYX Wonder Pencil
- Similar to the Miley look, use a pale-colored pencil on the bottom water line to help open the eyes up. This is an old trick used to help brighten the eyes.
- Eyeliner: Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Black
- You’ll want to create a line that is not too thin or thick but comes to a very subtle cat eye.
- Mascara: L’oreal Voluminous
- Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey
- Go around nose, under eyes, and cover up any additional spots.
- Blush: Bobbi Brown Nectar
- This particular look is from the film “Funny Face,” which was released in the 1950s, so this product is great because coral-pink blush was very popular during that time period.
- Lip liner: Chanel Precision Lip Liner in Rouge Profond
- Matte lipstick: Tom Ford Lip Color Matte in Ruby Rush
- Orange-red lipstick was also popular in the 1950s, just like the blush.
Meghan Markle, modeled by Meetra Amini

- Skin prep: Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced
- Primer: Dior Backstage AirFlash Radiance Mist
- Use the Dior No. 12 Brush to apply both this primer and the foundation in the next step.
- Foundation: Dior Backstage AirFlash Foundation #400
- Prime eyes: Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials
- Apply this primer all over lid and eye.
- Eyeshadow: Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette: The Golden Goddess
- From this palette, use color #1 Prime all over the lid.
- For this look, you will want to create a muted smokey eye, so any shadow that is a taupe-gold shimmer will work.
- Brow pencil: Anastasia Medium Brown
- Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette
- Using Undone, make a triangle shape with one side going from the lash line out, and the other side of the triangle going towards the brow. Again, you are trying to create a very subtle smokey eye, but you will want the overall look to be fresh and feminine—just like Meghan.
- Eyeliner: YSL Couture Liquid Eyeliner
- Mascara: L’oreal Voluminous
- Fake lashes: 03 Kiss or Ardele
- Bronzer: NARS Bronzer in Laguna
- Add freckles
- Use a spritz of MAC Setting Spray on a tiny-tipped brush, then using Undone from the Naked2 Palette, dot the face. To tone down each freckle down, use your finger to blot each one individually without smearing your work.
- Lipstick: Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour
- This color offers a peachy-pink color just like Meghan wore on her wedding day.
