Barrett and Liane met their freshman year at Texas Christian University. However, they didn’t start to date until a bit later in college. After dating for six years, Barrett proposed at their apartment after tricking Liane into thinking they would wait a couple more years to get married. They celebrated with family and friends at Terilli’s.
For their wedding day on May 7, 2016, the couple played off of the classic gold-and-white color palette of the Belo Mansion with fresh white centerpieces and a lush hydrangea floral runner. “We wanted it to be classic and elegant but still showcase who we are as a couple,” says Liane. In lieu of table numbers, the couple instead named each table after a street that had special meaning to the couple: their first home, schools, and different places they have lived.
At the reception, Barrett and his father joined The Special Edition Band to serenade the bride with her favorite song–“All For You” by Sister Hazel.
