Jade and Casey met while attending the Maccabi games at the Jewish Community Center. She was playing basketball; he was the boys soccer coach. However, the couple didn’t start to date until her best friend Corinne started a basketball team where Casey worked. Jade went on to Southern Methodist University to attend college and the pair decided to take a break from their relationship. When she was a junior, they both realized they were meant to be together.
The couple worked on renovating a new house for almost six months. Casey knew that their first night in their new home together would be the perfect opportunity to propose. “He hid the ring under the covers so when we got into bed I saw the box,” says Jade. The couple celebrated their new home and their future life as a married couple.
Jade studied markets and culture at SMU. She works at Vince in Highland Park Village. Casey studied sociology at Loyola in New Orleans and works in real estate. They will marry Saturday, October 8, 2016, at the Belo Mansion.
