Loved and Found Makes Giving Wedding Gifts A Breeze

Whether you’re a member of a wedding party or a soon-to-be bride or groom, Loved and Found has you covered for wedding-related gift giving. Gifts are too often the last priority on a bride or bridesmaids’ list, leaving loved ones with generic items that didn’t feel personal or thoughtful. Liz Vidrine, founder of the Dallas-based gift company, was intimately familiar with this problem. “I started Loved and Found at a time in my life when I found myself needing an abundance of gifts. Everyone close to me seemed to be getting married, having a baby or settling into their first home. I was constantly scrambling around searching for something special, only to get overwhelmed and disappointed by all of my gifting options,” Vidrine says. Ten years of textile design experience has given Vidrine a sharp eye for design, making every gift box that comes out of Loved and Found gorgeously presented and undeniably thoughtful.

Newly engaged ladies will love the engagement boxes, decked in gold and pink and featuring Rifle Paper Co. foil notebooks, a Bauberella on-the-go ring cleaner, and Sugarfina champagne candies. But Loved and Found also caters to the fellas—her ruggedly sophisticated groomsmen box includes filet mignon beef jerky, a brass money clip, and an elegant W&P Design copper flask. Prices range from $48 to $188 for pre-curated boxes, but Liz is also happy to work with you to create custom boxes as well.

We sat down with Liz to ask her more about her shop:

Why weddings?
Weddings are an endless source of inspiration for me: the color palettes, location, season and of course, the couple themselves. I think the most personal gifts I have designed have been in collaboration with brides-to-be. I also couldn’t ignore the fact that so many of my friends were either bridesmaids or getting married themselves!

What makes a great item for a Loved and Found wedding box?
I often try to feature an item with a keepsake or heirloom quality in our wedding boxes. Something like a special locket, gold compact mirror, or vow books will be remembered well past the wedding day.

What is the process like for a custom box?
If our clients are interested in custom gifts, we start by getting to know your event and personal style. After hearing about your gifting needs, we begin the process by brainstorming and providing several product and packaging options for your review. We can also customize gifts you see in our gift shop by swapping out items or adding personal touches.

Our most popular request has been gifts for the bridal party. So many brides (and grooms!) want to say thank you in a thoughtful and creative way but already have so much on their plate.  Our hope is that we can collaborate and get to know our brides style, but also take out some stress so they can enjoy the time leading up to the wedding day. We can also design, assemble, and deliver welcome gifts for out of town guests.

What kind of future wedding boxes can customers expect to see soon?
We are developing several new wedding boxes for our ready-to-gift shop! We will be adding more bridesmaid and groomsman options as well as the sweetest flower girl box to our assortment. Check out our Instagram account for sneak peeks! Our hope is that even if someone is in a time crunch, they are able to depend on us for a thoughtful, beautifully presented gift.
