Corinne and Ben met while working at an ad agency in Oklahoma City. The University of Oklahoma grads became friendly while tracking down executives and setting up meetings. However, it wasn’t until Ben made the move to a Dallas office and Corinne to a new agency that they realized there was more to their relationship than creative briefs. After eight months of long-distance dating, Corinne packed up her bags and moved to Dallas. Two years later, Ben proposed at Lee Park.
For their fall nuptials on October 17, 2015, Corinne and Ben wanted to share the city they love with their out-of-town family and friends. The Hickory Street Annex was the perfect site due to the stunning views of the city. The bride chose a romantic fall garden theme with coordinating colors of navy, dusty blue, cranberry, and peach. She called on R Love Floral to pull together the floral details. The couple collected wine bottles (with help from their friends) to decorate the tables, along with handmade wine bottle votives lovingly crafted by Corinne’s mother.
Besides marrying the man of her dreams, the bride’s favorite memory was right before her mother walked her down the aisle. “To help cure my nerves, the bridesmaids and I started singing ‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’ by NSYNC. We knew every word and it helped take my mind off being nervous,” she says.
